Tyra Banks didn't know Life-Size would have such a lasting impact on fans.

It's been more than 25 years since Banks portrayed Eve, a doll who miraculously comes to life, alongside a young Lindsay Lohan in the 2000 made-for-TV film, jam-packed with memorable outfits, quotable lines and even a catchy song, "Be a Star."

Now, fans both new and old are watching the film on Disney+ after it was added to the platform in November — and Banks, 52, is happy to see the project continue resonating with viewers. The model, actress and businesswoman tells PEOPLE she "had no idea" Life-Size would remain relevant so many years later.

"I had people coming up to me everywhere and just starting to sing ['Be a Star']. It's crazy," she says. "They’ll be like, 'Please say 'dress me,' please.'"

The original Life-Size followed a young girl named Casey Stuart (Lohan), who attempts to bring her late mom back to life using a book of spells — but instead turns the Eve doll she got for her birthday into a real woman (Banks) by mistake.

Banks — who reunited with Lohan at a Freakier Friday premiere in August — reprised the role of Eve in Freeform's holiday-themed 2018 sequel, which costarred Francia Raisa. Would the former America's Next Top Model host ever consider stepping back into Eve's shoes yet again?

"I have some fantastic Life-Size announcements coming out in 2026. I can't say what it is," she teases. "If it was obvious, I wouldn't say it. So, it's something new."

In a 2020 interview on Watch What Happens Live, Banks claimed Life-Size 3 was in the works — but fans of the franchise will have to wait and see what exactly she has up her sleeve.

In December, Banks released a new song called "Santa SMiZE, Santa SMiZE" to promote her SMiZE & Dream brand of both hot and cold ice cream. "I want everybody laughing," she says of the song, which features fictional lore, a section inspired by "Cha-Cha Slide" that aims to get every family member on their feet to dance at your holiday party and even shoutouts to desserts from around the world.

"I was trying to create a classic. Who knows? It's not for me to create that classic. It's for me to write it and put it into the world and see," says Banks. "I'm not a singer. I'm not a recording artist, but hopefully people will be inspired by 'shine bright, shine far, don't be shy, be a star' [from 2000's Life-Size] and say, 'She sang something before!'"
