Natalie Portman announced she was pregnant with her third baby on April 17. It's the 44-year-old actress and producer's first child with 45-year-old boyfriend Tanguy Destable.

"Tanguy and I are very excited," she said in an interview *Harper's Bazaar*. "I'm just very grateful. I know it's such a privilege and a miracle."

Portman was previously hitched to choreographer Benjamin Millepied, with whom she shares two children: 14-year-old son Aleph and 9-year-old daughter Amalia. The two met when he served as her choreographer on the Oscar-winning 2010 film *Black Swan*, and they married in 2012*. *Portman and Millepied separated in early 2023 amid reports of an alleged affair involving the French dancer. She filed for divorce that summer.

Destable entered the picture in early 2025, roughly a year after her divorce. So, who is Natalie Portman's boyfriend? Here's what we know about him and their relationship.

He’s a French music producer

Destable grew up in Brittany, a peninsula in northwestern France that's sometimes called Little Britain. In a 2017 interview, he cited Nirvana and Boards of Canada as influences.

In Brittany, he befriended Jean-François Perrier, who, as GrandMarnier, helped found the popular electronic outfit Yelle. His "friendly" rivalry with Perrier inspired him to begin creating his own electronic music under the name TEPR, and he went on to spend six years as a member of the band. He also found success remixing their music, particularly with his spin on the 2007 single "A Cause Des Garcons."

As TEPR, he released six LPs between 2003 and 2022, as well as several EPs. In 2016, he performed at the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. He continues to work closely with the artist Yoann Lemoine, a.k.a. Woodkid, a French musician, composer, and director who's worked with artists such as Katy Perry and Taylor Swift.

He’s collaborated with Lady Gaga and other notable acts

In addition to Yelle and Woodkid, Destable has collaborated with a wide range of artists that include Martin Solveig, M83, Calvin Harris, and Santigold. Perhaps most notably, he teamed up with Lady Gaga for a 2023 film with Dom Pérignon.

Elsewhere, he served as a music producer on Walter Salles' Oscar-winning film *I'm Still Here*, which was composed by Dirty Three legend Warren Ellis.

He also worked with Hideo Kojima on the beloved game guru's 2025 sequel to *Death Stranding*, and had a hand in the theme music for Peacock's *Those About to Die*, a historical series about the Roman Empire starring Anthony Hopkins.

He also has two children from a previous relationship

Like Portman, Destable has two children from his previous relationship.

From 2013 to 2023, he was linked to Louise Bourgoin, a French actress with credits on series like *Interns* and *The Romanoffs, *as well as several international films. Together, they share 10-year-old Étienne and 6-year-old Vadim.

In a 2017 interview with Billboard, he discussed how a song on his Inquisifunk EP, "Hello E," was inspired by the birth of Étienne.

“He was born a year ago, and I wanted to welcome him,” he said. “I've always been super into melodies, huge sounds, and arpeggiated harmonies. I wanted this song to be like the end title, and I think it finishes the EP in a nice way. [The EP is] like a roller coaster, you have a lot of flavor, a lot of emotions, a lot of different feelings while listening to it.”

He and Portman both live in Paris

Reports of Portman and Destable's relationship date back to March 2025, and there have been several photos of the pair getting cozy in Paris, where they both live.

“There’s been beautiful spring weather, so it’s been pretty amazing to just walk in the incredible parks here and go see art," Portman told *Harper's* of the city, "Just the usual things you do when you’re not working!”

She added, “In France, they consider full-term to be 41 weeks rather than 40, so I guess I get an extra week to be pregnant this time around.”**
